Get Delivered: Ensure Your Campaign’s Delivery

Keeping Our Promises – Good Reputation With High Delivery Rates

We make every effort to maintain our good reputation with ISPs and Blacklist Administrators to ensure high delivery rates for our customer's email campaigns.  We only allow permission-based email marketing and will take a stand against customers who are guilty of spamming.

We have implemented the following processes to maintain our delivery reputation:

  • Build Relationships, Whitelist Our Servers & Set Up Feedback Loops With Major ISPs
We strive to maintain a constant dialogue with major ISPs like AOL, Yahoo, MSN, Comcast and more, get our servers whitelisted and set up feedback loops (FBLs) with them so that we will be updated should any of their users log a complaint against our customers.

    • AOL
    • Comcast
    • MSN Hotmail
    • Microsoft Live
    • United Online (Juno/Netzero)
    • Outblaze
    • RoadRunner
    • USA.net
    • Verizon
    • Yahoo
    • Mailtrust
    • Spamcop (not an ISP, but they set up daily reports on our network)

  • Blacklist Monitoring
We monitor our servers on a daily basis for blacklists. Should any of our servers get blacklisted, our team will get into action to get it de-listed.
  • Abuse Email Accounts
We have set up abuse notification email accounts, which are monitored by our team on a daily basis. All complaints coming into our abuse email accounts will get our immediate attention.

  • Review Of New Customers
All new customers will be reviewed by our team and their reputation will be checked.

  • Separation of Trial & Paying Customer's Email Sending
We've separated the sending process for our trial account customers and our paying customers. This protects our paying customers and ensures that their sending reputation is not affected by the activities of our trial customers.

  • Batch Importing
We allow our customers to carry out batch importing. All batch import mailing lists are subject to review (and subsequent approval or rejection) by our delivery team. Mailing lists that have been approved will be placed under a “watch list”, so we can monitor bounces and complaints. Customers are also required to declare that they have obtained the permission of the email owners before they can proceed with their batch importing.

  • Confirmed Opt-in
All subscribers who subscribe through online subscription forms must go through the confirmed opt-in process. This means an email will be sent to them requesting them to confirm their subscription. The confirmed opt-in is a standard feature in eConnect Email and customers will not be able to disable this function.

  • Unsubscribe Link & Company Contact Details
All campaigns that go through eConnect Email must include an unsubscribe link and company contact details. eConnect Email will automatically check for the unsubscribe link and will not allow the campaign to go through if no valid unsubscribe link is found. We also require our customers to make a declaration that they have provided their contact details and that the details are valid.

  • Campaign Monitoring
Our team reviews all campaigns sent by our clients to ensure compliance and all campaigns are kept for 45 days before customers can delete them. This is to ensure that the unsubscribe link for the campaign will still function should subscribers decide to unsubscribe. The unsubscribe link may remain functioning after 45 days, until the campaign is deleted by the customer.

  • Suspension & Termination Of Accounts
Customers who have received spamming reports or a high volume of complaints will have their account suspended or terminated. eConnect Email will investigate all complaints and require 100% cooperation from the customers involved. We will terminate the customer's accounts if we do not get a response.

It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that email marketing is carried out respectfully. If you didn't get someone’s permission to send them an email, please do not do so. A hit-and-run email marketing campaign will not get your company anywhere. All that will happen is that your account with us will be terminated, while your company’s email address will be banned or blacklisted by ISPs and Blacklist Administrators.  If you take pride in your company’s reputation, don't spam!

Our Partnerships & Investments

We work hard not just to ensure high delivery rates for our customers, but also to give our customers a good experience when using eConnect Email, and the assurance that their data is safe with us. Our goal is to provide you with the most powerful email marketing system and to engage experts to support us with our service:
  • Working With ISP Relationship Experts
While we have an internal ISP Relationship team, we have gone a step further by engaging an external consultancy to provide advice and help strengthen our relationships with ISPs.

  • Partnering With Experts In Managed Hosting Services
We are partners with one of the world's most highly regarded hosting providers – Rackspace, which was voted one of the leaders in North American Web Hosting for 2008.

  • Backing Up Your Data
All our servers – database, web and mail servers – are backed up to ensure that we are able to restore your data should anything happen to our servers. We perform daily incremental backups and one full backup on a weekly basis for our database and web servers. For our email servers, we perform a full backup once a week.

  • Protecting Our Servers
All our servers are protected with a hardware firewall, on top of what Rackspace provides to protect their own data center.

  • Local Administrators And Rackspace Fanatical Support
Our local administrators work hand in hand with the Rackspace support team to monitor our servers 24/7/365.
